Rosa Kruger has been a consultant vineyard manager for different cellars who designs new vineyard sites and manages existing vineyards for quality wine for 20 years. In 2016, she founded the Old Vine Project, formalising something that had been taking shape since 2002. Rosa Kruger is the 2022 Decanter Hall of Fame recipient, making her the first viticulturist and first South African to crack the nod in the 38-year history of the award.

Prue’s commitment to restoring balance to the natural environment and to regenerating the Henschke vineyard ecosystems while minimising harmful impacts has seen her win many local and international awards. In 1986 Prue began a project in the old Mount Edelstone and Hill of Grace shiraz vineyards, to select the best genetic material for vineyard replanting, aiming at selecting the vines that produce the most intense colour and flavour in the grapes. The results led to the development of Scott Henry trellis on the old shiraz vines to enhance the unique flavours of each of these old vines.

Meike joined the family business in 2005. With her sister Dörte, the winery ensures ecological balance in the bottle by working with lighter bottles, and thus lessen emissions of CO2 during both bottle production and shipping. Now with her husband Markus Klumpp, where she and the 2nd generation winemaker of Ecovin-certified Weingut Klumpp began a joint wine label named “Hand in Hand” in 2009. Lora began working at Dalmore distillery and joined the MsC programme at Heriot-Watt. As Head of Distillation at ATOM Brands, Lora worked with production and NPD across a range of spirits and liqueurs. In 2018, she landed her dream job and joined Diageo's new distillery project in Dublin as Head Distiller for Roe and Co.

In 2019 Kirsteen became the first woman to take on the position of The Macallan Master Whisky Maker in its long-standing history spanning almost 200 years. She had a hand (literally) in creating The Reach, the oldest whisky ever released by The Macallan featuring a single malt dating back to 1940.
