BACKGROUND

The award was established with the singular mission: to recognize, connect and honor the accomplished female professionals who have contributed to shape the wine & spirits industry today.

The industry of wine and spirits has evolved in the past decades, with more diversity and inclusion initiatives happening. More and more female professionals are taking up various careers from viticulture, wine making, distillation to marketing, education. Some of them are playing instrumental roles, leading the development of the industry. Those women definitely deserve more visibility and recognition.
